UPDATE 2: It's Official - Ubisoft Massive Is Working On TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION 2; Watch The First Teaser

After the massive success of the first game, Ubisoft has accidentally revealed that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is a real thing and Ubisoft Massive has been working on the secret project for a while now...

The first Tom Clancy's The Division turned out to be a huge success and managed to beat Bungie's Destiny as biggest new IP launch in the video gaming history. It looks like Ubisoft is done with supporting the "old" game and is ready to announce the sequel to Ubisoft Massive's MMO/TPS/RPG. The first informations about the game accidentally leaked today and we have our first look at the logo.

Thanks to a press release posted by Ubisoft's German division, we know that Ubisoft Massive returns to develop the sequel, officially known as Tom Clancy's The Division 2. But this time, Massive will collaborate with Ubisoft Annecy, Redstorm, Reflections, Bucharest and Ubisoft Shanghai. Snowdrop Engine known from the first The Division and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will help the developer to realize their plans. The good news is that the first game won't be abandoned anytime soon.

The Division 1 will receive two more updates with two brand new Global Events, including more Legendary difficulty missions and an update for Xbox One X that will rediscover the beauty of New York City with all its stunning details in both 4K and 1080p. As of June 2018, players will also have a chance to play "Crests" which are achievements that allows players to unlock special The Division 2 rewards.

The note ends with Julian Gerighty, Creative Director, Massive Entertainment's acknowledgement of the global support The Division has received over the past two years and a teaser of many attractions that will be revealed during Ubisoft's conference at the E3 2018 in June.
