Earlier this month, it was officially announced that
Overwatch will finally be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The multiplayer first-person shooter allows players to control any of an ever-expanding selection of playable heroes.
In the time since the game's initial release, Blizzard has added a plethora of new characters to the roster. With
Overwatch now set to come to a Nintendo platform, an incredible fan-made video has visualised what it would look like for Link of
The Legend of Zelda to become a playable hero.
Link's wearing his signature green tunic and wielding the instantly recognisable Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Though some creative liberties have been taken with the iconic character's design, it's all in order to make him fit within the world of
Overwatch.
The talented bunch of people who put this together (as well as what they contributed to the project) are as follows: Stéphane Vidélo (rig & animation), Jeremy Vitry (concept art), Aaron Walker (character model), Philémon Belhomme (render, props, and background), and Etienne Pov (visual effects).
