Exactly a month ago, Hypixel Studios debuted the first trailer for, their highly-anticipated, upcoming sandbox role-playing game, Hytale. Since then the announcement trailer has racked up a total of 31.5 million views. That's particularly impressive as its the very first game from, the newly formed, Hypixel Studios.
If you recognise the studio's name, that's because they're the same minds behind the renowned "Hypixel" Minecraft mulitplayer server. Thus, if it wasn't obvious enough already, it's pretty evident where Hytale's inspiration lies.
The most-viewed video-game related trailer of 2018 was for Fortnite's fifth season. After six month's that Season 5 trailer brought in 48 million views. Therefore, Hytale is truly something to keep an eye on. Perhaps this new challenger may be able to stand up against its inspiration after all.
