Minecraft is one of the video games that gives more freedom to the player when creating and enjoying their content, presenting a virtual world where you can build and modify everything is part of the fun. While the vast majority of players are dedicated to building homes and other regular buildings, those responsible for the Sayama City project have wanted to go a step further: recreate a mega Japanese city that gives winks and has details of the main cities of Japan.
This collaborative project has been in operation for several years, and has a simple objective: to build a large Japanese city in the video game of Mojang and Microsoft. Since 2015, they have been dedicated to building neighborhoods, commercial premises, bridges, houses, skyscrapers and green areas in the creative title, trying to maintain scale at all times.
Sayama City is a great fictional city that is reminiscent of other Japanese cities such as Osaka, Tokyo and many others, hence its characteristic and realistic style. Its managers have been adding small details, and have a Twitter account in which they communicate their progress, explaining the news and sharing some other photos so fans can observe the realism of their creation.
IT’S A GAME ABOUT PLACING BLOCKS AND GOING ON ADVENTURES. It’s set in infinitely-generated worlds of wide open terrain - icy mountains, swampy bayous, vast pastures and much more - filled with secrets, wonders and peril!
Minecraft is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mobile, Nintendo Switch and PC.
