The Elder Scrolls is definitely the biggest IP in Bethesda's catalogue. While it may be hard to imagine, the series didn’t start with 2002's
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but six years earlier when
The Elder Scrolls: Arena launched to raving reviews. 25 years after that major event, we're patiently waiting for the release of
The Elder Scrolls VI, that was technically announced at least year's E3.
The long-running series currently consists of five numbered entries (
Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and
Skyrim), its own MMO (
TES: Online), and countless expansions (as a reminder, the DLC trend started back in 2006 when the infamous "
Horse Armor" expansion was made available), and it doesn't look like the beloved series would fall into oblivion (see what i did here?) anytime soon.
To celebrate the series' 25th anniversary, Bethesda has released a special trailer to thank the community and developers for "
the unforgettable moments, stories and even real-world relationships that both the developers and community have made in Tamriel." Be sure to check it out down below:
