Bethesda Softworks has released an action-packed gameplay trailer for the next major step in
The Elder Scrolls: Online's evolution – the
Elsweyr DLC. The titular
Elsweyr is a completely redesigned region of Tamriel that's been featured heavily in the main series, starting with 1994's
The Elder Scrolls: Arena.
Killing dragons, one of the most exciting and challenging actives from
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will return in
Elsweyr in (hopefully) all its glory. To take those creatures down, you and your friends will need to learn to coordinate and work together, but if you succeed, you'll reap rewards not found anywhere else in Nirn. To make the fight easier, Bethesda will introduce a new class – the Necromancer – capable of summoning the fallen undead and making use of corpses to overwhelm their enemies.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of
Elsweyr will be launching in June, while PC users will have a unique chance to play the game in early access this May. Be sure to take a look at the DLC down below:
