If you haven't been living under a rock for the past three weeks — like I have until now, apparently — chances are that you have heard of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. If you haven't, chances are that you are missing out on one of the most popular games to have released this year.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a battle royale game with platforming elements that was developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital, which released for the PlayStation 4 and PC(Steam) that became available earlier this month, and that has become a massive hit overnight.
The game is relatively cheap at $19.99 USD on both the PlayStation Store and Steam, although it is also free for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and this is where things have gotten more interesting; probably the main reason why the game has become so popular.
As revealed by Devolver Digita, Mediatonic's insanely popular Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has already managed to sell over a very impressive 7 millionc copies on Steam in a short three weeks since it's been out.
On top of this, the publisher reveals that the relatively recently released title has also managed to become the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time, although they do not reveal exactly how many copies have been downloaded since it launched earlier this month; still quite the feat.
Fall Guys is a massively multiplayer party game with up to 60 players online in a free-for-all struggle through round after round of escalating chaos until one victor remains!
Fall Guys is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC(Steam).
