Back in July of this year, Sega surprised fans by revealing that
Super Monkey Ball was making a comeback in the form of an HD remaster — which would become available for home consoles by the end of October; with the PC(Steam) version releasing at a later date.
A few weeks before
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD was released, Sega revealed that Sonic the Hedgehog — the company's iconic mascot — was also going to become available as a playable character in the game.
Today, Sega has released a new trailer for
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, which focuses entirely on Sonic the Hedgehog, as the iconic Blue Blur becomes a playable character in the game today. It is also worth mentioning that Sonic is an unlockable character, which means that players can get him completely free of charge.
