British developer Playtonic has some great news for those players who are still on the fence about purchasing the phenomenal
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair — as they reveal that a free demo is already on the way, and will be releasing very soon.
According to the information shared by Playtonic, this free demo of
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be available on the
23rd of January on Steam, while the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will be getting the demo on the
30th of January.
Xbox One players will still have to wait a little bit longer, since Playtonic still doesn't have a determined date for the release of this free demo, although it is likely that it won't be too long before we get some news about its release date.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is the sequel to the
Banjo-Kazooie series spiritual successor
Yooka-Laylee, although "Impossible Lair" is actually more of a spiritual successor to the Donkey Kong Country series — meaning that, instead of 3D platforming, the game delivers some classic, and very polished 2D platforming experience.
