Announced in May of last year,
Team Sonic Racing is the brand-new racing game by Sega — which, unlike the
Sonic & All-Stars Racing series of games, only features characters from the
Sonic the Hedgehog series instead of having guest characters from other renowned series by Sega.
Team Sonic Racing is, much like the name appropriately suggests, a game that focuses on theam gameplay mechanics, where players race in teams and win races as teams. This is an even more interesting gameplay mechanic when racing online with friends, where each member will have to do their best and help each other out in order to win.
Customizable vehicles is also one of the features that
Team Sonic Racing is introducing, which allows players to fully customize their cars and make them look unique. Customizing vehicles doesn't only make them look nicer, but players can also make some modifications to the cars by changing some parts in order to make them faster, easier to maneuver, or even improve the car's handling.
As
Team Sonic Racing finally becomes available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam on
Tuesday the 21st of May, Sega has released a new trailer that gives us a good look at some of the high-speed races the game is offering.
