Codemasters has reached its 10 Year Anniversary with its titular racing genre game,
F1 2018, the official game for the
2018 FIA Formula one World Championship. It follows on the heels of the series' last two installments which were highly acclaimed, and are hoping to springboard off the massive customization options that the 2017 edition had, and perfect its system this time around.
There were wide customization options to tweak, on the 2017 edition, like the engine, chassis and aeorodynamics of the cars; the possibilities were truly endless for players. Their developers understood that too much freedom shied away quite a bit of their community, so they are giving a bit more direction to the customizations, just another proof as to why the longevity of this series has existed.
Codemasters have also developed a more extensive career mode story, much like
EA or
2K have done with their respective sports titles in the
Madden and
NBA 2K series' games, as well as included a garage full of classic cars that weren't introduced in previous games. If you're a fan of Formula One racing, or racing titles in general, be sure to check out this game. Here's a trailer covering all the features of
F1 2018:
F1 2018 is released today, August 24th, 2018 for Windows PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One retailing for $59.99 USD.
