As expected, the upcoming launch of Darksiders III will be only a small beginning of Fury's long journey, as Gunfire Games ((former Vigil Games, creators of the first two Darksiders games) have announced that the third part of Darksiders III will receive at least two big DLC expansions titled The Crucible and Keepers of the Void that will introduce some new puzzles, weapons, enemies and armor.
The DLCs will be available in the Deluxe, Blades & Whip, Collector's and Apocalypse Edition of Darksiders III. According to the studio, The Crucible will likely be available more than a month after the base game's release and the other is the first quarter of 2019. The Crucible will be focused on battling one stronger wave of enemies after another, similar to the Horde mode from the Gears of War series.
The second expansion, Keeper of the Void, is a story mission set in the Serpent Holes, ancient paths that worm their way beneath the husk of this dead world and beyond. During the playthrough, Fury will have to face an unknown ancient danger. Finishing the quest filled with new opponents and puzzles in the brand new, yet familiar location will reward you with new weapons and Abyssal armor.
Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must succeed where many have failed – to bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth. Darksiders III is the long-anticipated, third chapter in the critically-acclaimed Darksiders franchise.
Darksiders III will be available for PlayStation 4 , PC, and Xbox One on November 27, 2018.
