BioWare Might Be Focusing On ANTHEM But Work On DRAGON AGE 4 Continues

The focus at BioWare currently is on Mass Effect's future and the promise of Anthem but Dragon Age 4 is quietly continuing its development.

Mike Laidlaw, Bioware's Senior Creative Director for Dragon Age has taken to Twitter to assure fans of the franchise that work continues on the video game series' next installment despite Anthem being marketed as the game studio's next big release and all the trouble surrounding Mass Effect: Andromeda.  In fact, Laidlaw teases that he actually knows what's planned for Dragon Age 5 as the studio plans two games ahead but cautions that things could change given the number of years between now and the theoretical release of DA's fifth installment.  BioWare has yet to make any formal announcements regarding the existence of Dragon Age 4 but as Laidlaw's Tweet show, it's an open secret at best that work continues behind the scenes.  With Anthem set for release in 2018, the earliest we could see Dragon Age Inquistion would be 2019, five years after the release of Dragon Age: Inquistion.
