In June of last year, Square Enix announced that quite the handful of titles in the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy series were being-rereleased for current-gen consoles — with a bunch of them actually being remastered versions of these timeless classics.
Among the announced classic Final Fantasy titles, Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy VIII Remastered — a game that is often considered to be a rather controversial entry due to how divisive it is amongst hardcore fans of the series; then again, many simply can't get enough of it, and actually consider it the best one.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered was actually released for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam) in September of last year, and Square Enix has just recently released a behind the scenes video that sees the developers revealing some very interesting details about the game's development process.
With Final Fantasy VII Remake taking the spotlight this year, it is nice to see Square Enix giving this game some love and sharing a behind the scenes video for fans to enjoy. Don't forget to turn on the subtitles, since the video is entirely in Japanese.
