In the midst of the Diablo Immortal fiasco, Grinding Gear Games has fans of the action role-playing genre covered as they have officially announced that free-to-play game
Path of Exile will be coming out for the PlayStation 4 this year.
Path of Exile was already released for PC back in 2013 and will see it's console debut when it releases for the PlayStation 4
this December—giving players the console experience they've been wanting from the
Diablo series that Blizzard has, time and time again, denied them.
In Grinding Gear Games'
Path of Exile, players take control of an Exile looking for revenge against the people that have wronged them. Much like the
Diablo series,
Path of Exile will take players to a dark fantasy world called Wraeclast, where they will have to select a class, customise their character, go on deadly missions, and even battle in PvP tournaments; in a game that brings out the best in the fantasy action RPG genre.
Take a look:
Path of Exile is a free-to-play Action RPG set in the dark world of Wraeclast. As an Exile, you'll explore deep character customization, visceral combat, powerful item crafting and endless replayability.
Path of Exile will be available for the PlayStation 4 this December.
