Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 came as a godsend, especially since the series hadn't seen a major release in quite a while, and the latest entries in the popular skateboarding series were received rather poorly by fans and players in general.
It is very fair to say that Activision and Vicarious Visions definitely hit the nail on the head by announcing this remaster in the same way they did with the critically praised Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remaster — which successfully managed to bring back the beloved Crash Bandicoot series.

Today new information has revealed that Activision and Vicarious Visions' Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will not be featuring microtransactions — although this may only be at the beginning.
According to head of VIcarious Visions Jean Oneal, in a recent interview with GameSpot, players will be able to unlock items in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 just by playing the game, and that the game will be the complete package at launch; definitely refreshing news.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC(Epic) on the 4th of September.
