Team Rainbow has a new leader, Ubisoft has recently announced. While Angela Bassett (
Black Panther) is seemingly done playing Aurelia “Six” Arnot in
Rainbow Six: Siege, the publisher has already found her replacement. According to Ubisoft, Aurelia's long-time advisor Harishva “Harry” Pandey will continue her work selecting the most prominent and diverse group of Operators the world has ever seen.
As revealed by Ubisoft in a new trailer, "
Harry has been with Team Rainbow from the beginning. When Aurelia reactivated the unit to deal with emerging threats, he acted as her psychological and military culture advisor. His primary function was to aid in the screening and selection of candidates, ensuring they meshed well with the team as a whole. Following her recommendation, and based on his familiarity with the members of Team Rainbow, Harry accepted the role of “Six”."
Considering that
Team Rainbow consists of some of the strongest personalities from 15 different countries, it's obvious than not everyone gets along. In the game's latest CG trailer, that also introduces us to the new Six, we have a chance to learn more about the past of the stubborn veteran of the British SAS, Thatcher, and his relationship with Hacker specialist Dokkaebi from Korea. Check it out below:
The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
