In the next step of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege's evolution, Ubisoft will introduce players to two all-new Operators from Australia: Gridlock and Mozzie. While the French publisher has finally revealed their full bios, it's still hard to say what they can do, as Ubisoft will tell us much more about them on February 17th, during the full reveal of Operation Burnt Horizon at the Six Invitational in Montréal.

Just like all the previous Siege DLCs, the game's fourth year of post-launch support will be divided into four separate expansions, and each of them will be themed around a nation's counterterrorism unit (CTU). Be sure to take a closer look at Defender Mozzie and Attacker Gridlock's profiles down below:

"A farm girl from Central Queensland, Tori “Gridlock” Tallyo Fairous learned from an early age that the best way through any hardship is with the help of family. Years spent running the family cattle farm honed her natural leadership skills, but her preferred method for dealing with problems is to get stuck into them herself and to ignore the inevitable paperwork that piles up afterward. Suffice to say, taking on a more formal role as an officer in the SASR hasn’t been one of her top priorities, despite the many attempts made to promote her.

Max “Mozzie” Goose is her opposite. Affectionately known as a “show pony” there’s no mistaking when he walks into a room. He can talk for hours about the wild stunts he’s pulled… But at the end of the day it’s his exceptional work ethic and ability to integrate with any team – as well as his unnecessary yet spectacular derring-do – that made him a candidate for Rainbow."

Whether the two of them can work against each other as effectively as they have together remains to be seen. In addition to the new playable characters, Burnt Horizon will also bring the game's 21st map: Outback. Set in Australia’s Red Heart, the map is an homage to all the dusty service stations and motels that populate the forgotten highways of the continent and places filled with hardworking locals.

Ahead of Burnt Horizon’s full reveal on Sunday, be sure to check out the DLC's CG trailers down below:

The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
