The Incredibles is arguably one of Disney/Pixar's best movies and now its sequel, simply titled
Incredibles 2, seems to be aiming for that number 1 spot, as well. The movie follows the life of retired superheroes (or Supers, as the movie refers to them) Bob and Helen Parr, also known as Mr.Incredible and Elastigirl, and their children Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack. And soon they would be suiting up to fight Syndrome, who has been taking out other Supers in order to get revenge on Mr.Incredible.
The movie came out back in 2004 and got a lot of praise from critics and audiences alike, to the point everyone seemed to be wanting more, but it wasn't until 2014 that a sequel was officially confirmed. During this time
, The Incredibles also got a tie-in game released in 2004 for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC, OSX, GameBoy Advance and a mobile phone version. A second game, titled
The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer, was released for the same platforms a year later.
LEGO The Incredibles will see the Parr family suit up one more time to fight a new threat that will closely follow the events of
The Incredibles as well as the upcoming
Incredibles 2,
as today we got an official announcement by WB Games. Check the trailer out.
Inspired by both films, LEGO® The Incredibles allows players to tackle crime as the super-powered Parr Family. You’ll get to explore action-packed story levels and an epic hub world as you use your unique super abilities to bring the city’s villains to justice. You can assemble incredible LEGO builds either on your own or team up with family and friends in two-player co-op mode for twice the fun.
LEGO The Incredibles will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch when it releases, alongside the movie, on the 15th of June.
