Top Ten Upcoming Games: 5 Through 1

Last week HF insiders broke down games 10 through 6. There are still five exciting games left to be explored.

5. Halo 5

Format: XO
Out: 2015
Publisher: Microsoft
Developer: 343 Industries

There isn't much we know about Halo 5 because the game is still in its infancy stage. At Gamescom 2014, however, 343 Industries shed light on the Halo 5 Multiplayer. The 1080p, 60fps multiplayer will also have dedicated servers for the fast pace 4v4 and other formats. 343 Industries is bringing back the fair starts. Everyone will be on the same page when the game begins, but its up to gamers to own the competition. The armors will be customizable with seven different armor sets. The Halo universe is going to change again, but to HF insiders its a welcome change.



4. Battlefield: Hardline

Delivering an all-new canvas for the best-in-class first person action gameplay the Battlefield franchise is known for, Battlefield Hardline sees Visceral Games bring its critically-acclaimed single player storytelling pedigree to provide an engaging story in a setting reminiscent of modern TV crime dramas. In multiplayer, fans will feel the thrill of the heist or the satisfaction of the ultimate bust with new twists including new modes, weapons, vehicles and gadgets.



A video game for everyone who played cops vs. robbers when they were children. It has a Counter Strike on steroids feel to it. You get a vast landscape get away with the loot. The cops, however, are always on their tail trying to take them down. There is a large quantity of weapons you can use to apprehend the perpetrator or teach the police a lesson. Players can fly in helicopters, zip line from building to building and go underground in subway tunnels. Had you told anyone at Holy Fragger there would be a cops vs. robbers game on this scale during infancy . . . we would have given our lunch money, juice boxes and limited edition collectibles to get a crack at it! Battlefield: Hardline has HolyFragger salivating for more!

3. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer speaks all for itself, but we will add a little extra. The all-new exoskeleton, players can boost jump, dodge, dash, slide, slam and more as the action goes vertical, while using future-tech, cutting-edge capabilities and a brand-new weapon class as part of nearly 350 custom weapons. That being said . . . the multiplayer is going to be one epic ride. To add to the experience there are over 1,000 in game rewards. Advanced warfare is definitely the understatement of the year. 2. Assassins Creed: Unity

Ubisoft has outdone themselves again in Assassins Creed: Unity. They have answered the cries for multiplayer and customization. Players can jump in with fight with a 2-4 player co-op mode. While in this mode you can boost your group with different abilities. There are thousands of different combinations of items, weapons and armor. All of these unique customizations tie directly into the french revolution and makes Assassins Creed: Unity one of the most anticipated games of the year.

1. Dragon Age: Inquisition

In Dragon Age: Inquisition, the expansive, beautiful world of Thedas is being torn apart by a massive, mysterious breach in the sky. Players must assume the role of the Inquisitor and lead a team of legendary heroes to uncover the truth behind the impending devastation.



We finally hit #1 with Dragon Age: Inquisition. Any of these games on the list could easily in their own right be #1. Dragon Age: Inquisition barely tips the scale in its favor. It brings anywhere of 150 to 200 hours to complete all content. There was a cry after Dragon Age II because it took away the vast open world that players were accustomed to. The big huge world is open once again and begging explorers to discover its secrets. Dragon Age: Inquisition doesn't leave out the customization either. Gamers can completely control the appearance and abilities of the Inquisitor, party of followers, outposts, and strongholds. There are 100's of weapons and armors that you can find, craft or purchase to outfit the inquisition in their quests. There is much more waiting in Dragon Age: Inquisition!
