The Brutal "Honest Trailer" For WARCRAFT Is Probably Best Avoided By Fans Of The Franchise
As expected, an Honest Trailer for Warcraft has been released and it definitely doesn't hold back! If you're a fan of the video games and enjoyed the movie, don't be surprised if this one gets under your skin.
In a summer full of disappointing movies which underperformed at the box office, Warcraft was one of the most surprising let downs. While a strong showing in China ensured that it escaped box office flop status, the movie was not the turning point for video game adaptations that the majority of fans expected, and a rare misfire for director Duncan Jones after the excellent Moon and Source Code.
This Honest Trailer for the movie predictably doesn't hold back when it comes to pointing out its many flaws, including the fact that the human actors didn't exactly manage to live up to their CGI co-stars. Throw in a lot of references that non-fans simply won't understand, and this unique look at Warcraft is definitely an awful lot of fun. More fun that the movie itself?
