Super Mario Bros. reboot. Yes, reboot. You might not remember, but the Japanese company already tried to adapt Mario in 1993's spectacular flop.
This time, the Italian plumbers saving princess Peach from the villainous Browser will be supervised by the legend himself, Shigeru Miyamoto, the series' originator. He will likely produce the movie along with the CEO of Illumination, Chris Meledandri. As for now, the companies plan to make just one animation, but if it's successful, SMB can evolve into a movie franchise.
