Yesterday, we reported that Pokémon GO made over an impressive $800 million in global revenue lat year — which is a 37% more in revenue than it did in 2017; showing that there's quite a huge demographic that cherish Nintendo IPs and want to play them on their mobile devices.

According to a new report by Sensor Tower, Nintendo's mobile division made a total of $348 million throughout 2018, with $117 million made in the fourth quarter — which already meant a 47% more in revenue when compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.

If the Pokémon GO and Nintendo mobile division numbers don't add up, it's because Pokémon GO isn't really a Nintendo game, nor part of their mobile game division. The official games that are part of Nintendo's mobile game division are Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, Dragalia Lost, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

The report also shows that Fire Emblem Heroes is Nintendo's top-performing mobile game of 2018, making thedeveloper a 66%  in revenue in Japan. It goes to show that Nintendo President Shuntaro, Furukawa was, right in wanting to focus on their mobile game division; especially because it really does seem to be quite the profitable market for the company.
