The Luigi's Mansion game series began in 2001, releasing as a GameCube launch title. The first instalment would become the fifth bestselling game on the console. A sequel was released all of twelve years later on the Nintendo 3DS, that game titled: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. This year, we're in for yet another instalment in the fan-favourite series.

Luigi's Mansion 3 was recently rated in Korea (via Comicbook.com). Similar to the previous instalments, it garnered an "E" for everyone rating. The game being rated suggests that it may release sooner rather than later. This also likely means that we're in for a ton of news about the highly-anticipated sequel, given that at the moment we don't know all that much about it.

This means that Luigi's Mansion 3 will almost certainly be one of the many titles that Nintendo will show off during their upcoming conference at E3 2019. So stay tuned to Gamefragger as we will be sure to cover it when it's shown off next month.

Though not much, what we do know about the sequel is as follows: Luigi's Mansion 3 will take place within a massive hotel wherein Luigi will use his Poltergust G-00 to hunt ghosts - much like previous instalments. Thanks to various retailers, we know that the game will cost $59.99.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is set to release in 2019.
