The classic 2001 Game Cube horror/action-adventure game that saw Luigi as the main star of his own series,
Luigi's Mansion, is getting a remake for the Nintendo 3DS and it will be available on the
12th of October.
Luigi's Mansion is probably one of those games that may have been overlooked at the time of its original release due to it not being a Mario game, but don't be mistaken since it is actually one of the best games on the Game Cube.
While it may not being a horror game per se,
Luigi's Mansion still managed to have its fair share of eerie content mixed with some tight controls, rewarding ghost-capturing mechanics, and high-end graphics that—to be quite frank—still hold up pretty well.
The premise in
Luigi's Mansion for the Nintendo 3DS will remain exactly the same, and will see Luigi exploring his new mansion, busting ghosts with his trusty Polstergust 3000, lighting up every room, and trying to find his older brother Mario—who has gone missing...again, only this time this is no educational videogame.
Take a look:
Time to suck those suckers up because Luigi is back in the first portable version of this spooky classic. After winning a mansion in a contest he didn't enter, he must beat its many bosses and puzzles.
Luigi's Mansion will be available for the Nintendo 3DS on the 12th of October.
