WarioWare is a series of comedy-based party games published nd developed by Nintendo that has been around since 2003 when
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! released for the GameBoy Advance—being praised by critics due to how innovative the game was.
The premise of these games is that players partake in 5 to 10 second minigames(quite literally microgames) in rapid succession, each of these microgames very different from one another. After successfully beating a number of these games, the speed and difficulty will increase, making it more of a challenge for experienced players.
The latest entry in the series is
WarioWare Gold for the Nintendo 3DS and it just became available yesterday. Nintendo has released a new trailer showing of some of the staggering amount of 300 microgames the game will feature. Thanks to the Nintendo 3DS hardware, these microgames will be very varied, having players touching the screen, twisting, mashing buttons, and even blowing bubbles through the 3DS' mic in order to win.
