The Ninja Warriors is a 2D sidescroller beat 'em up game developed and published by Taito that came out for arcades in 1987.

In 1994, the game would see a remake for the Super Nintendo that improved the game's graphics but kept the same core elements found in the classic 1987 arcade. The remake was titled The Ninja Warriors Again in Japan, although when localised for Western audiences the game was simply called The Ninja Warriors—much like the original game.

Earlier In July, Taito announced that they were bringing back the classic beat 'em up to the Nintendo Switch, although not too many details about the title were shared.

Today, Taito has released a new trailer for the game, showing off some of the game's classic sidescrolling action, as well as getting a new official name: The Ninja Warriors Once Again. The game's official release date has yet to be announced, but Nintendo Everything reports that the game will be playable at this year's Tokyo Game Show.
