Last December, Red Barrels announced that Outlast would be coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime in early 2018. However, gamers were never given an exact date for the Switch debut of the horror franchise. It appears a formal announcement was never forthcoming from Nintendo afterall, as Outlast: Bundle of Terror appeared on the eShop overnight like a horrifying pimple on prom day.

Or not.

Anyway, the bundle includes the first Outlast game as well as its downloadable content. When will Outlast 2 hit for Nintendo Switch? We aren't sure, though Red Barrels did say in their announcement (see above) that the "Outlast franchise" would be released in the first quarter of 2018, and Outlast 2 was originally released in April.

In other words, time to put on your brown pants, Switch fans!
