Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS introduced us to Mii Fighters, which are fully customisable fighters that are based on the player's very own Mii avatar. These Mii Fighters come in Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter' each with unique abilities that can be customised to whatever the player thinks suits them best.
Given that every fighter is making a return in
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mii Fighters are coming back, as well; this time completely redesigned to the point they now feel more like real characters rather than simple avatars.
Much like their Wii U and 3DS counterpart, these Mii Fighters will also be able to be fully customised, and Nintendo will also be offering costumes for players to try on at their leisure.
According to the official Nintendo website, the next Mii Fighter Costumes will be included as downloadable content for
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and will cost $0.75 USD each. We still don't know what kind of costumes these will be, and dates are still to be determined by Nintendo, but they are expected to release in 2019.

New fighters, like Inkling from the Splatoon series and Ridley from the Metroid series, make their Super Smash Bros. series debut alongside every Super Smash Bros. fighter in the series…EVER!
