Monster Hunter World did not come out for the Nintendo Switch, but
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate was announced back in May and is finally releasing today for the Nintendo handheld.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an HD port of the Monster Hunter generations expansion—titled
Monster Hunter Generations XX—that was only released in Japan. The expansion includes new monsters, equipment, and the ability to let players to be joined by friends cooperatively—either locally or online. On top of that, if players already owned
Monster Hunter Generations on their Nintendo 3DS, they can transfer their data to the Switch and keep all their progress.
