Nintendo announced earlier this year that they were working on a remake of
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, one of the first titles in the now well-established
The Legend of Zelda series; considered by many to be one of the best games in the series, even.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake is being remade by Grezzo, who have a history of porting titles from the series and giving them that "extra oomph" to the graphics; keeping in mind that they also do their best to keep things as faithful to the original as possible.
Today, and thanks to the people over at Digital Foundry, we got a video that compares both the original Game Boy version of
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and the upcoming remake on the Nintendo Switch.
Digital Foundry also analyzes the game's performance, although it is worth mentioning that they only played a demo of the game, so most performance issues are likely to be fixed before the game finally releases later this year.
