Captain Toad is back and this time he's taking his adventures to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS family of systems with
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
The game originally came out for the Nintendo Wii U and it was based on one of the mini games featured in Super Mario 3D World in which Captain Toad would search for 5 Green Stars in a puzzle-based area. It was a very fun mini game that seemed more like a "testing the waters" kind of experiment to see if people reacted positively to it in order to make it a fully realised game. And it worked, the Captain Toad mini games in Super Mario 3D World are incredibly fun without being too challenging—which is exactly the premise of
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Captain Toad: Tresure Tracker is now being ported to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS and both versions will feature maze-like levels for players to explore and find Power Stars. The game will also see players moving the camera around, and moving objects to find secret areas in over 70 fun levels. Captain Toad" Treasure Tracker will also feature levels based on
Super Mario Odyssey like Cascade Kingdom, New Donk City, and more.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, which originally launched for Wii U, is coming to Nintendo Switch. The new version includes new miniature courses based on various Kingdoms in the Super Mario Odyssey game.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be available for the Switch and 3DS on the 13th of July.
