There's no denying that the recently revealed
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will serve as a direct sequel to 2017's
Ghost Recon: Wildlands, with the return of the previous title's main protagonist, codenamed Nomad, traditional open-word structure, and even some important gameplay mechanics.
While
Breakpoint probably won't win the title of the most original video game of the year, it will try to introduce the player to debuting systems that will drastically change the way you play
Ghost Recon.
In a recent interview with IGN, the developers behind
Breakpoint had a chance to explain how the long-running game series has changed since the original’s big debut back in 2001. Quite surprisingly, Creative Director Eric Couzian seems to believe that the futuristic setting of
Future Solider didn't suit the
Ghost Recon brand, even though its mechanics, like the in-game gunsmith, synchronized shooting, and use of cutting-edge tech (including deadly drones) will reportedly play a major role in
Breakpoint.
Without farther ado, be sure to learn more about
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in the video down below:
