Banjo-Kazooie is one of the most beloved titles that players can find on the Nintendo 64's vast library of games. In fact, the dynamic duo has recently come back home as playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — which is actually something that both fans of the series and the developers themselves have said is a dream come true.
Pokémon is yet another beloved series that has seen a game released on pretty much every Nintendo console since the series became a worldwide hit back in the 90s, and it is arguably one of Nintendo's most popular series; without getting into series' ownership details, of course.
This love for both the Banjo-Kazooie and Pokémon series has led a fan to create a pretty awesome recreation of Banjo-Kazooie's iconic cover; replacing every single character in the cover with characters from the Pokémon series, and the result is actually quite wonderful.
The artist in question is Twitter user Petey Pariah, who even attracted the attention of Banjo-Kazooie creator Steve Mayles — who not only retweeted Pariah's artwork, but also helped him confirm what one of the little bugs on the game's original cover was.
