One of the things that made
Marvel's Avengers get somewhat of a mixed reception, was the fact that there was little to no gameplay shown in the trailer released during this year's E3. Square Enix also didn't release the gameplay shown during the event.
To make matters worse, Square Enix also revealed that footage for the game would be shown during this year's Comic-Con, but only to those attending the event; making people even more concerned about the overall quality of the game, as they believe Square Enix not showing the game has to do with the fact that it simply isn't good.
Well, gameplay footage from the Comic-Con demo for
Marvel's Avengers has leaked, giving us a better idea of what the game will play like once it releases in May of next year. Some of the footage was actually used in the official trailer and it looks decent enough.
Of course Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics still have quite some time to polish some things before the game releases but, as of now, the
Marvel's Avengers still needs some work; at least from what can be seen in the Comic-Con footage.

Part 2. SDCC. Sadly the last part. Security almost caught me. from r/MarvelAvengersProject
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Marvel's The Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on the 15th of May in 2020.
