Bandai Namco's Yusuke Tomizawa, the newly appointed producer for the 'Tales of' series, has shared a message on the verified Bandai Namco Twitter account, stating that they are very thankful for the support that fans have given the 'Tales of' series over the years.

He also mentions that Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will finally be releasing for all current gen consoles on the 11th of January. The original game came out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but it was never localised outside of Japan—being this the first time Western audiences will experience the title.

Tomizawa ends his message by saying that they are currently working on a new 'Tales of' game, but he cannot share any more details about the project just yet. This new 'Tales of' game will be the 17th main entry in the series after Tales of Berseria was released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows in 2016.

Take a look:

A power struggle begins in a civilization dependent on an ancient technology, the blastia, and the Empire that controls it. The fates of two friends traveling separate paths intertwine in an epic adventure that threatens the existence of all.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC will be released on the 11th of January..
