We may have good news regarding Metroid Prime 4, as Retro Studios has recently shared a post on their Twitter account revealing that they are currently hiring people to work on the long-awaited first-person title.

Retro Studios is currently hiring for various positions, including Art Director, Product Tester, Lead Character Artist, and Physics Engineer, to name but a few. It seems that Retro Studios are just beginning to work on the game, so Metroid fans will have to wait for a little bit longer before we get new announcements for Metroid Prime 4.

Fans of the Metroid Prime series have been having a bit of a rough time waiting for Nintendo to finally release the latest entry; or begin working on it, even. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, the last game to be released, came out in 2007, and Metroid Prime 4 was announced in 2017, after a decade without news from either Nintendo or Retro Studios.

The good news is that they are, at least, working on the long-awaited sequel. Hopefully the rumors are true and Nintendo are working on a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD remaster for the Nintendo Switch, as it would be the perfect time to give fans of the series something to scratch that Metroid Prime itch.
