Today has been a pretty good day for fans of the Crysis series, as earlier today developer Crytek announced that a gameplay trailer for Crysis Remastered will finally be revealed this Wednesday the 1st of July, where the developers will also likely to share more important information about the upcoming title.
Crysis Remastered was officially announced in April of this year, but much information about the game itself — other than the platforms it will be released on — wasn't really shared, so today's news was definitely something that fans of the critically acclaimed first-person shooter series appreciated.
As it turns out, the day is about to get even better, as a listing shared on Microsoft Brazil's official website for Crysis Remastered has revealed that the game will be launching on the 23rd of July, so fans will not have to wait much longer to finally play this remastered edition.
What's more, Microsoft's website also reveals that the game will require 7.0GB of free space to install, and that Crysis Remastered will support HDR10 and 4K Ultra HD on the Xbox One.
However, and while this is pretty much official information, we still don't know if this release date also applies to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch; Xbox and PC players will definitely get the game on the date mentioned above, though. Now, all we need is for Crytek to release the first official trailer this Wednesday.
Crytek’s ground-breaking, critically acclaimed first person shooter is back! Crysis Remastered is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – the game's debut on a Nintendo platform.
Crysis Remastered is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC this summer.
