Crysis is a first-person shooter game developed by Crytek that was originlly released in November of 2007; to this day, it is still regarded as one of the most graphically demanding video games out there. Interestingly enough, the developers deemed necessary to release a remastered version of it, and it looks even better than the original.
This remastered version is simply titled Crysis Remastered, and it was announced in April of this year for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch(you read that right), Xbox One, and PC; with the Nintendo Switch currently available, and looking great for a portable version.
While the Nintendo Switch version of the game looks way better than it has any right to, the developers at Crytek still decided to take some extra time to work on other versions of Crysis Remastered, and they have been releasing tech trailers to keep fans updated on the development.
In case you were wondering, Crysis Remastered will finally become available this Friday the 18th of September, and now that we are only a few days away from the game's release, Crytek has shared a new tech trailer to keep fans excited; this time, one that is completely rendered in 8K resolution.
Don't be confused, though, since the game is the one rendered in 8K resolution, but you'll still have watch it in 1080p60. With that said, this new tech trailer for Crysis Remastered will give players a pretty good idea of what to expect from the game once it's finally released.
Take a look:
What begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over a North Korean island chain. Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, players can become invisible to stalk enemy patrols, or boost strength to lay waste to vehicles. The Nanosuit’s speed, strength, armor, and cloaking allow creative solutions for every kind of fight, while a huge arsenal of modular weaponry provides unprecedented control over play style. In the ever-changing environment, adapt tactics and gear to dominate your enemies, in an enormous sandbox world.
Crysis Remastered is currently available for the Nintendo Switch; PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions expected to launch on Friday the 18th of September.
