World War 3 was announced two years ago and it looks like The Farm 51 is finally ready to talk about their latest game. The FPS is being developed by the creators of
Necrovision and last year’s sleeper hit
Get Even. World War 3 mixes the PvP and PvE gameplay mechanisms as a source of new ideas for the online shooters genre and gamers tired of seeing the same
Call of Duty and
Battlefield every year.
According to The Farm 51,
World War 3 will allow the players to choose soldiers from all over the world, including the Polish Armed Forces (the game is made in Poland, after all), powered by the latest version of Unreal Engine 4. The shooter will feature at least three big locations - Warsaw, Moscow, and Berlin, and just like in the
Battlefield series, you will have a chance to use a variety of combat vehicles.
While working on
World War 3, The Farm 51 is cooperating with top military centers, strategic center experts, and special forces veterans (GROM, SAS, SEALs, etc.). The studio is an official partner of key companies from the Polish arms manufacturing industry, including Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Centrum Symulacji OBRUM.
World War 3 will also offer many solutions influenced by real warfare, and the modern arms industry, something pretty rare in the shooter genre nowadays. Check it out:
