While
Conan Unconquered was officially revealed during last year's Kinda Funny Games Showcase as the first-ever strategy game set in the rich world of Conan the Barbarian, we still don't know much about this all-new project. Petroglyph Games, the renowned
Star Wars: Empire at War, Gray Goo, and the upcoming
Command & Conquer remasters veterans, have finally decided to break radio silence.
In the recently released "
What Is Conan Unconquered" video, we’ve got not only a unique chance to learn more about the developers’ inspirations for the game, but also see some snippets of never-before-seen gameplay footage. In
Unconquered, you will build your own stronghold and assemble an "
unconquerable" army to survive the savage hordes of Hyboria leading your people as Conan.
According to Petroglyph, this
Conan RTS features not only a single-player campaign and plenty of multiplayer modes (including two-player co-op), but also a special mode that will allow you to explore randomly generated maps and discover ruins hiding great treasures guarded by ancient dangers.
While
Conan Unconquered’s release date is a mystery, be sure to take a look at the dev diary below:
