Just like the whole Star Citizen initiative, the space trading and combat game's single player campaign, Squadron 42, constantly falls short of the mark and is primary example of being a victim of ambition. The solo campaign was announced in 2014 as a spiritual successor to Wing Commander and after a strike of delays it was supposed to came out in 2018 but it has been delayed once again. 

Roberts Space Industries is a made up spacecraft manufacturer within the ever-growing universe of Star Citizen and its companion mode Squadron 42. In the latest filled with details featurette, the Space Industries gives you a brand new look at some of the core technology and assets being worked on for Squadron 42, and how they're factoring into development as well as the simulation game itself.

With no doubt, Cloud Imperium Games has managed to gather an impressive cast. During your playthrough, you'll surely recognize faces and voices of Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Gillian Anderson (The X-Files), Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service), and Andy Serkis (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), but the actual quality of Star Citizen remains unknown...
