Serious Sam is back and he's more badass than ever in Planet (wait for it!) Badass. The very first teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel featured Sam cruising through the countryside on a massive motorcycle, killing the fan-favorite Beheaded Kamikazes. For the first time, Sam won't be alone.

Your companions will no longer appear only in cut-scenes, but will take part in the action. Rodriguez, Jones, Hellfire and the rest of the crew are joining Serious Sam in this unique journey through Planet Badass. There's also potentially bad news as the game's Steam page reveals that the intense shooter "is still a focused, linear experience you have come to love, and NOT an open-world game".

The last chapter of Sam's epic saga, Serious Sam 3: BFE was released seven years ago for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Android, Linux, Mac OS. Developer Croteam and Devolver Digital confirmed at E3 2018 that Planet Badass will grace owners of PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in not too distant future. In the meantime, be sure to check out the very first gameplay from SS4 below:

Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass reignites the legendary series and elevates the iconic full-throttle gameplay, massive hordes of enemies, and explosive array of weapons to the next level with the power of Croteam's Serious Engine.
