The Farm 51 (Get Even, Necrovision, Deadfall Adventures, Painkiller: Hell & Damnation) is working hard on a new trailer for the upcoming multiplayer shooter elegantly titled World War 3. The studio's post on Twitter suggests that the showcase will feature a lot of new gameplay footage. It's rather safe to assume that the finished thing will be released during Gamescom (August 22–25, 2018).
To make the wait a little bit easier, the producer has decided to release a "spontaneous material" featuring snippets of new gameplay footage spotlighting the customization options and fighting on the streets of Warsaw and Moscow. The Farm 51 has also confirmed that the highly anticipated game will give you a chance to choose between the Polish, German, Russian, USA and British troops at launch.
According to The Farm 51, World War 3 will allow the players to play as soldiers from all over the world, including the Polish Armed Forces (the game is made in Poland, after all), powered by the latest version of Unreal Engine 4. The shooter will feature at least three big locations - Warsaw, Moscow, and Berlin, and just like in the Battlefield series, you will have a chance to use a variety of combat vehicles.
World War 3 is a multiplayer FPS set in a global military conflict taking place in the third decade of the 21st century. The emphasis is put on offering true-to-life modern battlefield, and combat focused on teamwork. We aim at offering authentic tactical combat operations in an unpredictable theater of war, striving for top playability and an authentic experience.
World War 3 will enter Steam Early Access this fall.
