According to Media Molecule,
Dreams is a space where you go to play and experience the dreams of the developer, the game's community, and naturally, your own, realizing your ideas and building your own projects, whether they’re games, art, films, music or anything in-between. Apparently, possibilities in
Dreams are almost endless and you can check if that statement is any true as soon as.. today!
Yes,
Dreams' first wave of beta tests starts today. "
It's been very exciting for us, but we need way more people for us to learn all the things we want to know about how people use Dreams. Those of you who have been following our newsletter will receive an invite to access our beta on December 19th, ahead of public sign-ups," Media Molecule announced in a special note to fans.
The beta, which will not support the full game's PSVR functionality, runs through January 21, and has been limited to EU, AUS, Middle East, Canada, Africa and US participants at this stage. Unfortunately, Media Molecule was not able to distribute codes to people who joined the newsletter after December 7th, but they will still have a chance to check
Dreams out, as those who sign-up will be invited to join the beta in waves during the week of January 8th.
Users must be 18 years and older to play the beta, but they do not need a PS + subscription to sign into it, only a connection to the PlayStation Network is required. See you in the Dreamiverse, soon!
The latest evolution of the studio’s Play, Create, Share experience; Dreams also gives you the opportunity to unleash your creativity, building, sharing and bringing your own ideas – or Dreams – to life in the online Dreamiverse platform, all with the easy-to-use, innovative tools Dreams was created with.
