Prophet, a market research firm, has shared its annual report for the current year, which analyzes the most important and best-rated brands in the United Kingdom. After interviewing and consulting more than 11,500 British citizens, the company confirms in its Brand Relevance Index study that PlayStation UK would be the third most relevant brand for consumers in the country.
PlayStation would be, in its third position, the only company focused on video games located in the top ten places on a list that includes more than 50 different companies. We would have to move to position 11 to find Nintendo, and number 17 to locate the other major competitor of the digital entertainment market, Xbox. According to Prophet, relevant data is evaluated, ranging from the appearance of new products or services of that firm in the market, the importance in the day to day of each company and the trajectory followed by a company in question in the country.
In addition, the changes made in the industry in which it operates are valued positively, as well as its 'attraction' in consumers. Prophet claims to have analyzed more than 240 brands, among which are neither tobacco companies nor weapons manufacturers.
