Bend Studio's
Days Gone is only a mere month away from releasing, officially launching for the PlayStation 4 on the
26th of April. And now that we've seen a bunch of trailers that the developer has shared with us, we can start comparing the improvements the game has seen over the years.
YouTube user Cycu1, has recently posted a video that compares the graphics in
Days Gone; including footage from the first announcement trailer all the way back in 2016, a gameplay video show during the 2018 E3, and the graphics seen in the game's story trailer released a few days ago during Sony's State of Play stream.
Like it is expected from Sony Interactive Entertainment, the graphics in
Days Gone have been through quite the bit of changes. Some textures have been refined, as well as overall graphics and color. Facial expressions have remained pretty much the same, but the developers have added a bunch of details that give them an even more photo realistic look.
Check it out:
Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.
Days Gone will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 26th of April.
