After a few delays, Bend Studio's Days Gone is finally ready to come out and will be releasing, exclusively for the PlayStation 4, on the 26th of April; introducing players to a massive post-apocalyptic open world.

From what we've seen in the trailers for the game, Bend Studio has really done a great job when developing Days Gone; focusing on making the experience one that will stand firmly on its own next to other renowned franchises in the survival horror genre.

Today Sony has released a new video that has Bend Studio's John Garvin and Jeff Ross, Creative and Game Directors gor Days Gone, sharing their experiences when working on this challenging project, and how the game came together; deciding very early on that they wanted to make a game that they themselves would want to play.

Take a look:

Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.

Days Gone will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 26th of April.
