It really has been quite the long time since fans of Capcom's Devil May Cry series got to play a new game; with Devil May Cry 4 being the last entry in the series, which released 10 long years ago.

Fans of Capcom's iconic hack and slash series were thrilled to find out, during last year's E3, that the developer was bringing back the series, which one even thought was dead in the water, when they announced the rumored Devil May Cry 5

We are only a few days away from Devil May Cry 5's release, which comes out on the 8th of March, and Capcom even released the game's final trailer — which had some spoilers about the game's story, and also revealed some characters that had not been confirmed to make a return.

Sicne it has been over 10 years since the Devil May Cry 4 was released, Capcom has decided to release a video that goes over the main events leading up to the long-awaited Devil May Cry 5; as a refresher for players who may not remember what's happened so far.

Take a look:

A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.

Devil May Cry 5 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 8th of March in 2019.
