According to Capcom's latest financial report, the excellent sales results of
Monster Hunter: World and
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers are motivating the Japanese company to release even more "AAA" titles and we should expect to see two of them before the end of March 2019. Rejoice, as it looks like the long-rumored
Devil May Cry 5 will be one of those "major titles."
The voice of Vergil from
Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, Daniel Southworth has posted a picture on Facebook featuring the series director Hideaki Itsuno (who also can't wait to talk about the project, just
take a look at his Twitter profile). What's even more interesting, he used the "
E3" tag, clearly indicating that
Devil May Cry V will be announced next week, possibly during Sony's E3 conference.
If somehow that's still not enough to convince you that
Devil May Cry 5 is real, the Austrian dealer Gameware has in fact included in the catalog of the game, both in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions, specifying that the output is expected for 2018. The PlayStation presentation will be taking place on June 11, at the following times: 6 pm PST, 9 pm EST, 2 am EST, and 3 am CEST.
